The Bloodrot Mutation is a rare and powerful enhancement in Steal A Brainrot, available exclusively during a special event. Its purpose is to drench your income in cash by applying a massive 2x cash multiplier to any Brainrot it infects. This doubles the output of any character, from the most common to the legendary Secret tier, making it a top prize for any serious player.
Visually, this mutation is impossible to miss. Any Brainrot affected by it will be colored a deep, menacing red, perfectly matching the “Bloodrot” name and signaling its enhanced power to everyone on the server.
How to Obtain
You can’t just find a Bloodrot Brainrot lying around. This mutation is exclusive to the Bloodmoon Event. This recurring in-game event periodically bathes the server in a crimson light, and only then do Brainrots have a chance to spawn with this mutation. You can track the event’s countdown on a timer located near the in-game Shop, right above a mysterious red teacup. Be aware: community reports on the event’s timing vary, with some claiming it’s a 45-minute cycle and others a much longer 2 hour and 44-minute wait.
Here are the only ways to capture one:
- Event Spawns: Be online when the Bloodmoon rises! Watch the conveyor belt and be ready to purchase any Bloodrot-mutated character that appears. Using Robux to boost Server Luck can increase your odds of a rare one spawning.
- Hostile Takeover: If you’re feeling bold, you can always raid another player’s base and steal one of their Bloodrot Brainrots. This is a high-risk strategy, as any player with such a valuable asset will have it heavily guarded!
During the event, you can also spin a special prize wheel for a chance to win a Bloodrot-mutated “Tralo Trala”, though some players have reported a bug causing its income to be lower than expected.
