The Fishing Update (also known as the Radioactive Update) introduced fishing mechanics, a new Brainrot Trader, the Aquatic Index, Radioactive mutations, and several new high-value Brainrots to Steal a Brainrot.
Timeline
- Revealed: November 14, 2025, at 4:30 PM EST on the Community Server and Roblox.
- Launched: November 15, 2025, at 3:00 PM EST, coinciding with an Admin Abuse event.
- Ongoing: Fishing events occur every hour. Brainrot Trader restocks every 2 hours.
New Features
Fishing Mechanic
Fishing is a limited-time event mechanic allowing players to cast rods anywhere on the map (ground level only, including bases or collect zones) to catch Brainrots during hourly events.
- How to Fish:
- Wait for the hourly event announcement.
- Equip a Fishing Rod (buy from Fisherman NPC near Gear Shop for better luck).
- Cast rod and wait for a Brainrot to lure.
- Rapid-click minigame to reel it in.
- Caught Brainrot spawns in your base for purchase/stealing by others.
- Special Elements:
- Radioactive Event: Water turns green; chance for Radioactive-mutated Brainrots (collect for Radioactive Index).
Better rods = higher luck for rares!
Aquatic Index & Fishable Brainrots
Collect 23/25 Aquatic Brainrots via fishing to unlock the Aquatic Base (exact rewards TBD; likely cosmetic/income boost). All 25 are fishable; last few are extremely rare.

Brainrot Trader
Replaced the Brainrot Dealer on launch day. Server-sided trades refresh every 2 hours with randomized requirements (no global stock/autoclicker issues). Trade existing Brainrots for new/rare ones.
Appearance: Merchant on a blue-hooded carriage pedestal, fancy blue jacket, pale peach skin, hat (resembles dev Sammy).
