John Pork
“John Pork Is Calling…”
John Pork is an OG rarity unit in Steal a Brainrot. Officially teased to the community through an update announcement on April 27, 2026, he stands as a highly recognizable addition to the game’s highest rarity tiers. Representing a major crossover for the game, this unit brings a viral internet sensation into the in-game economy while boasting unique mechanics and deep lore ties.
Appearance and Lore
The visual design of John Pork faithfully recreates his famous internet persona. The unit is an anthropomorphic pig featuring a distinctly human-like face, complete with blue pupils and a prominent smile. His wardrobe consists of a red flannel layered over a gray undershirt, paired with classic blue jeans and gray shoes. Notably, he is permanently holding a mobile phone in his hand, making him the ninth brainrot in the game’s history to carry a phone, following the original trendsetter, Pot Hotspot.
Within the internal lore of Steal a Brainrot, John Pork has a surprisingly tragic backstory. He was originally close friends with the character Tim Cheese. However, this friendship ended in betrayal and tragedy when Tim Cheese murdered John Pork out of intense jealousy, as John had been spending time with Tim’s love interest, Tina Cheese, who was also killed in the ensuing conflict.
History and Release
The inclusion of John Pork was made possible through an official collaboration. The character was originally created in 2018 by the Instagram user @john.pork, who directly granted the BRAZILIAN SPYDER development team permission to add him to the game. His arrival was heavily anticipated, initially hinted at by developer SpyderSammy dropping a simple pig emoji in a global announcement during an “Admin Abuse” event. The BRAZILIAN SPYDER team officially confirmed his upcoming release on April 25, 2026.
His release marked several milestones for the game’s development cycle. He was the first OG rarity brainrot to ever be introduced during an odd-numbered month (May), breaking a long-standing pattern set by previous OGs like Strawberry Elephant (August), Meowl (October), and Skibidi Toilet (December). Furthermore, his addition provided the community with the first brand-new OG unit in four months, not counting the Headless Horseman, which had merely been buffed from Secret to OG status.
Obtainment and Base Mechanics
Acquiring an OG unit like John Pork requires immense resources or luck. Players can natively obtain him by purchasing him directly from the Red Carpet. Alternatively, like all units in the game, he can be acquired by raiding other players through the core Stealing mechanic. To accompany his high status, John Pork comes equipped with his very own custom base layout, a premium feature shared by other OG rarity units.

Role in the Meta and Technical Details
From an economic standpoint, John Pork is considered the second least-generating OG brainrot currently available, though his massive $500M/s base income still places him far above standard units. Historical data shows that the very first John Pork to ever spawn in the game was a Gold mutation.
Beyond his raw stats, he introduces one of the most unique trait mechanics in the game. The exclusive “John Pork” trait is the first and only trait capable of altering the display name of any brainrot it is applied to. When a unit receives this trait, its name dynamically changes to feature the calling text. For example, applying it to Tim Cheese will change the unit’s display name entirely to “Tim Cheese is Calling…”. Complementing his theme, whenever John Pork spawns into the world, he triggers a custom audio cue that sounds like a classic, old-fashioned telephone ringtone, perfectly matching the original meme format.
