Rebirth System

Rebirth is a core progression mechanic in Steal a Brainrot that resets all player progress—including cash, Brainrots, and base upgrades—in exchange for permanent upgrades. These include increased cash multipliers, additional base slots, extended lock base timers, cash bonuses, access to new gear in the Coins Shop, and exclusive items/abilities like slaps, potions, and weapons. Rebirths are essential for late-game power, enabling higher earnings, better defense, and access to premium content.

Higher Rebirth levels demand exponentially more cash (up to quadrillions) and rarer Brainrots (Mythic → Brainrot God → Secret). Cash requirements sometimes vary per player (e.g., lower or higher values reported; exact formula unknown, but not modded). Currently, Rebirth 17 is the maximum (added November 22, 2025). One new Rebirth is added approximately monthly.

⚠️ Effects of Rebirthing:

• Base resets to default (floors/slots regain via rewards).
• All owned Brainrots are lost (except those stolen beforehand).
• Brainrots in transit revert to the Red Carpet.
• Ongoing steals are canceled (stolen Brainrot disappears).

How to Rebirth

To start a rebirth, you need to meet certain requirements. This usually means having a minimum amount of Cash and also a specific brainrots. When you’re ready, find the Rebirth icon on the left side of your screen. Click it and confirm your choice. Remember, this will reset your cash and clear your character inventory!

Strategies & Tips

Preparation

Preparation is crucial for a smooth Rebirth experience, as it minimizes downtime and preserves your hard-earned progress. Focus on safeguarding assets and optimizing resource accumulation before hitting the Rebirth button.

• Pre-Rebirth Steals: Before initiating the Rebirth, coordinate with a trusted friend or use an alternate account (accessed via a separate device, browser tab, or incognito window) to steal your most valuable Brainrots. This moves them safely out of your base and inventory, preventing permanent loss during the reset. Immediately after Rebirthing, steal them back from the holding account. This strategy effectively skips the entire grind for reacquiring top-tier earners like Secrets or high-income Gods, saving potentially hours or days of gameplay.
• Req Stockpiling: Proactively farm the exact Brainrots and cash amounts needed for your next Rebirth (or even multiple future ones) on an alternate account or hand them off to a reliable friend/clanmate. Store them securely in their base until you’re ready. Post-Rebirth, reclaim everything instantly, turning what could be a multi-hour setback into seconds. This is especially powerful for single-req milestones (RB5–16) or when events make farming easier.
• Cash Farming: Maximize your current Rebirth multiplier (which scales earnings exponentially) by running efficient farms: fill all slots with top earners, activate pets/gear for bonuses, and spin machines like Lucky Blocks or Fuses. Time this with high-impact events—Admin Abuses drop free high-tiers, luck rituals/boosts (x12+ during peaks) skyrocket drop rates, and limited-time modes (e.g., Winter Hour) provide bonus cash/Brainrots. Sell dupes or low-value items on the Trader for quick liquidity. Goal: Overfarm by 20–50% to buffer contested Red Carpet bids.

During Grind

The grind phase—from collecting reqs post any mishaps to hitting the cash threshold—requires balancing speed, safety, and opportunism. Adapt server choice and timing to your risk tolerance.

• Public vs. Private: For pure safety and uninterrupted farming, grind in private servers (invite-only or solo)—no thieves, full control over spawns. Switch to public servers for aggressive play: steal others’ Brainrots to accelerate your progress, contest Red Carpet for rares, but brace for counter-thefts and chaos.
• Events: Perfectly align your grind with game events for exponential gains. Admin Abuses spawn droves of free high-tier Brainrots (Myths/Gods/Secrets)—join immediately via Discord alerts.
• EV Calc: Always prioritize Expected Value (EV) calculations: EV = (Drop Chance × Income/s) for machines/steals. Hunt highest-income Brainrots first (e.g., Secrets > Gods).

Trivia

• Rebirths 5 through 16 require only one Brainrot each.
• The Common rarity and the OG rarity are the only rarities excluded from Rebirth requirements due to the simplicity of the former and the extreme difficulty of the latter.
• Rebirth 1 is the only Rebirth that does not grant an additional slot.
• Rebirth 2 grants the second floor of the base.
• Rebirth 10 grants the third floor of the base, which is particularly useful for keeping valuable Brainrots safe, as it is much harder to steal Brainrots placed on the third floor.
• Rebirth 8 is the final Rebirth to require a Mythic Brainrot.
• Rebirth 11 is the final Rebirth to unlock a slap ability.
• Rebirth 15 is the final Rebirth to require a Brainrot God Brainrot.
• Rebirth 16 is the first Rebirth to require a Secret Brainrot, and it is also the first Rebirth to require a “Los” Brainrot (Los Tralaleritos); it is likely to be the only “Los” Brainrot ever used for Rebirth requirements.
• Rebirth 17 is the first Rebirth to require two Secret Brainrots.
• Rebirth 17 is also the first double-digit Rebirth (10+) to require multiple Brainrots.
• Before Rebirth 14 was added, Rebirth 8 required Cocofanto Elefanto and Rebirth 13 required Ballerino Lololo. After Rebirth 14’s addition, Cocofanto Elefanto was downgraded to Rebirth 9, and all previous Brainrot requirements were shifted down by one Rebirth.
• Ballerino Lololo was completely removed from Rebirth requirements following the addition of Rebirth 14.
• Rebirth 1 originally required Tung Tung Tung Sahur, but it was replaced with Gangster Footera after Noxa claimed copyright on Tung Tung Tung Sahur and demanded its removal (even after it was briefly added back).
• Any Brainrots still heading to a player’s base will be returned to the Red Carpet upon Rebirthing.
• If another player is in the process of stealing a Brainrot and the owner Rebirths, the Brainrot in transit disappears.
• One new Rebirth is typically added approximately once per month.
