The Witching Hour is a limited-time Halloween event in Steal a Brainrot, originally released on October 11, 2025. It functions as a recurring timed event designed to allow players to collect specific components for the Halloween update’s limited Secret unit.
Due to high demand and the difficulty of completing the collection, the event was re-released on October 25, 2025, giving players a second opportunity to complete their Halloween Index.

The event follows a strict timer, starting every 2 hours (server time).
Objective
When the Witching Hour begins, the game spawns exclusive Halloween-themed Brainrots that are not available in the standard rotation. Players must hunt these specific spawns to obtain the four required components to craft the limited Secret unit, La Spooky Grande.
Obtainable Brainrots
During the event window, the game randomly spawns one of the following four Halloween units. These are the mandatory ingredients for the La Spooky Grande recipe:
- Vampira Cappuchina
- Zombie Tralala
- Frankentteo
- La Vacca Jacko Linterino
Exclusive Trait: Nightmare
The Witching Hour features a unique time-sensitive trait mechanic that incentivizes immediate participation when the event starts.
Trait Name: Nightmare
Condition: This trait is only obtainable during the first 3 minutes of the event.
Effect: Brainrots spawned within this short window have a chance to possess the Nightmare trait, which provides significant stat boosts or income multipliers (specific multipliers vary by patch).
